Hillary is the Grand Dame of the 1-Percenters. She’s using a mix of Obama’s old campagin staff and her own. Only 470 days until the election! I’m sure Jeb Bush and Scott Walker actually care about poor people… Bad news, folks. There will most likely be a Bush in the White House next year and Jeb will lose.
If only there was some way to not vote for those who have been chosen by the elite of Washington… Sanders will only result in a Republican president. Will a Republican president forsake those two firms? No, and with the addition of the Koch Bros in the mix, this will be a bad place to live.Mark Penn was Clinton’s screw up from her first campaign. He was chief strategist, and he didn’t understand the roll of caucuses versus primaries. Texas has both. Clinton won the primary but lost the caucus so badly that she actually lost Texas by delegate count. She fired him in April last time. He is not back for round two. same guy who wrote a Malcolm Gladwell-eque book on “Microtrends”. The perfect pseudo-intellectual for giving a TED talk but not someone you want to give actual responsibilities too. I say this as a liberal, but establishment Democrats have hard-ons for guys like him… particularly big city mayors. Rahm Emanuel’s inner circle is basically a series of clones of Penn.
It would be kind of interesting if there were any merit involved in achieving wealth. People who work hardest for other people, for their communities, etc., are never rewarded. We now reward people who are born with money already, or who learn to deceive and screw people over.
The opportunities for class mobility have all but disappeared. You now have to struggle for education, take on lifelong debt, beware of predatory lending in housing, cross your fingers that you stay healthy, and fight against the most finely tuned deception machine imaginable. Here’s the reality: Hillary is the (D) version of John McCain. She will say anything, do anything, deal with anyone and align with anyone to become President. She believes it is her turn and her right and will do anything to achieve that goal, Good luck, America.
It’s the logical conclusion of having a Democracy in a Capitalist society. I wish we made all of our politicians wear patches of their sponsors like NASCAR drivers.
