Scott Walker thinks maybe he’ll take a few online college courses to finish his bachelor’ degree. Not while he is running, mind you, because he’s far too busy, but once he’s elected and can relax and just have to worry about being president

“I’ve got two sons who very, very well, before the next election, at least one of them, may have his degree and the other would be just a year out,” Walker told ABC News’ Jon Karl.”Part of it was I wanted to make sure they went through and got what they needed,” he said.

Maybe he’ll take a few courses on economics, God bless his poor, dear, sweet heart… Ironic considering he’s slashing the University of Wisconsin’s budget and trying to eliminate tenure.

He doesn’t like publicly funded liberal arts universities like UW. He does like tech, online and for profit schools. He seems to think higher education should only exist to serve the needs of businesses.

I saw an analysis of his completed credits that said that he is actually quite a bit shot of the minimum needed for a degree at Marquette; assuming that he is somehow able to apply all of the credits that he does have for the degree. Maybe he can attend one of those for-profit schools instead, you give them lots of your money and you get a degree.

Apparently, things like “the search for truth,” “improve the human condition,” “public service,” “stimulating society,” and of course, don’t forget “educate people” don’t make the cut in Walker’s mission for higher education.

Scott Walker certainly looks like Garth Holliday from Anchorman: “You were my hero Ron! Why’d you have to say that? You come out with stink like that. Poop. You poop-mouth, with poop out of your mouth!” Ron Burgundy: “Garth, if I would give you some money out of my wallet, would that ease the pain?”
