HSBC a rich persons bank. Accounts start a $100K.
Recently they admitted to money laundering for Narco Terrorists. Otherwise I am sure they are a great bank. Talking about HSBC Premiere, which does have a 100k minimum but if you travel alot or spend extended periods abroad, it’s fantastic. You can walk into any branch and they 1) know who you are 2) don’t fleece you on FX ratesI still have an HSBC account, but I don’t keep very much money in it; I’m in the States for the foreseeable future so I don’t need what Premiere has to offer anymore.
HSBC are charging me 2.19% for my mortgage (in the UK). Not sure how they make any money on that after funding cost and capital charges.
Yay HSBC!
